Vocational Case Management Job Description & Ergonomic Evaluations
Job Descriptions analyze the specific job performed by the employee at the time of injury or illness to accurately determine both the essential and non-essential functional requirements of the job. This analysis is typically shared by the Vocational Case Manager with healthcare providers to assist in determining an appropriate job goal.
Ergonomic Evaluations assist employers and employees to better understand the physical demands of specific jobs, given individual worker dynamics. Appropriate recommendations may be made by the Vocational Case Manager regarding modification of worker behaviors, work tools and/or structural changes to specific work environments.
NOVARE'S VOCATIONAL CASE MANAGEMENT RED FLAGS FOR JOB ANALYSIS
- Objective information required related to job tasks to determine return to work capacity
- Employers' unwillingness or inability to accommodate the worker
- Alternative placement options need to be identified
